Pear and Whisky Highball

A light yet flavoursome serve for those who aren’t afraid to experiment. The freshness of the pear really accentuates the creamy lushness of Artist Blend. Tastes best after a long day of creating.

Pear and Whisky Highball

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 and ¼ oz of Artist Blend
  • ½ oz of pear liqueur (Such as Merlet Crème de Poire William)
  • 1 tsp of simple syrup
  • 1 tsp of fresh lemon juice
  • 4 and ½ oz of soda water
  • Microplaned pear to garnish
  • 35ml of Artist Blend
  • 15ml of pear liqueur (Such as Merlet Crème de Poire William)
  • 5ml of simple syrup
  • 5ml of fresh lemon juice
  • 125ml of soda water
  • Microplaned pear to garnish

METHOD

Fill a Highball glass with ice and then add Artist Blend, pear liqueur, simple syrup and fresh lemon juice.
Stir all the ingredients together, then add more ice (as required), and top up with soda water.
Stir again, thoroughly (or pull through with a barspoon).
Add a microplaned pear to garnish.
Serve, and enjoy.
