Rich, smoky, sherried.
In his 1930s book ‘Whisky’, Aeneas McDonald teaches us that Glaswegians historically preferred fuller bodied and more flavour- packed whiskies than people in other parts of the world.

Like the ARTIST’S BLEND, GLASGOW BLEND boasts a high single malt content. Inclusion of malt whisky matured in Sherry butts, and an Islay single malt of a powerfully peaty nature, has made this a blended Scotch whisky like no other.
Full, rich and smoky on the palate, with notes of baking spices and Sherry wine character.

Signature Serve
Grapefruit Mamie Taylor![]() An amazing twist on the classic Mamie Taylor, this pairs grapefruit juice with the smoky undertones of Glasgow Blend. While it sounds unusual, grapefruit and Glasgow Blend is a brilliant and complementary match. A refreshing and very flavourful cocktail at the same time! 50ml Great King Street Glasgow Blend
Pour grapefruit juice into a glass full of ice. Add whisky and top with good quality, spicy ginger beer. Stir briefly and garnish with a zest of lime. |

Signature Serve
Glasgow Blood & Sand![]() We believe a well-made Blood & Sand needs to use a Scotch whisky that will cut through and add its signature to the drink. Glasgow Blend is brilliant for this. This is more like what a Blood & Sand must have tasted like when it first arrived in the early 20th century. 30ml Great King Street Glasgow Blend
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a twist of orange zest. |
