Notes about films through the Eyes of a dog, Parasites and a Goldfinch

Through the eyes of a dog

I have just returned from a film session "Through the eyes of a dog" and I want to share my impressions. I haven't read the book on which this movie is based, and after watching the trailer, it was hard to say what to expect from this movie.

"Through the eyes of a dog" (The Art of Racing In The Rain) - the film is not about racing at all, as you might think at first glance, a children's film about a naughty dog. This film shows the life and relationships between people through the eyes of a dog. In the original, the voice of the dog was voiced by the famous Hollywood actor Kevin Costner, so this is another reason for me to review this wonderful film in the original.

I was 13 years old when Milo Ventimiglia starred in the movie "Rocky Balboa" and even though it's been a long time since the film was released, I still remember him every time Milo smiles. He was accompanied in this film by the beautiful American actress Amanda Seyfried. A wonderful duet turned out!

"Through the eyes of a dog" is an emotional film that will make you laugh and cry from time to time. This is probably one of the best films I've seen - a wonderful story, acting and well-chosen music, especially the John Fogerty song at the end.

Parasites

"Parasites" by Pon Joon Ho is a transformer picture that mimics social drama, black comedy, thriller and even slasher from time to time. If you really want to enjoy the author's idea of the director, it is better to prepare for viewing in any way, do not read anything about the plot and rejoice in every unexpected reincarnation of the story. It didn't work out that way for me - at one point the tape was so tense, and I was so panicked that I couldn't even imagine what was going to happen on the screen now. So, I opened Wikipedia (fortunately, English) and read the synopsis of the plot. This did not greatly spoil the impression of the "parasites", but I do not advise doing so - the charm of the story is precisely in its unpredictability. The tape was released on August 1.

Goldfinch

The long-awaited film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Tartt "The Goldfinch" is being released". In 2014, the work was awarded the Pulitzer Prize. Oscar-winning cinematographer Roger Deakins, who has all the box office films on his account, did his job and turned John Crowley's idea into a cinematic reality.

For viewers who are not familiar with the novel, the movie "Goldfinch" it may seem confusing and generally not fully understood. But those who are familiar with the work of Tartt, will again completely immerse themselves for two and a half hours in the book. "The Goldfinch" more like a retelling of a story in which the reader is a participant in the events. John Crowley gives the viewer the opportunity to experience the whole story quite independently and feel all the plot emotionality.

The actors are selected flawlessly, their images almost completely match the description. Impeccable musical accompaniment is the final touch that makes this film a worthy book adaptation.

"The Goldfinch" - a beautifully shot film, from which it is as impossible to break away as from the novel itself. bodyrub
